Red Hat is an OPUCE Project Partner
OPUCE (Open Platform User-centric Service Creation and Execution) is a European telecommunications industry group comprised of NEPs (Network Equipment Providers), Service Providers, Research Institutes, and Software Developers.
OPUCE was chartered to bridge the advances in networking, communication, and information technology services, by providing an "open service infrastructure", enabling service providers to create and deploy services with ease. These services can be accessed by multiple devices connected via various networks, therefore extending the service providers reach. OPUCE's goal is to continue delivering the next generation telecommunications delivery platform, enabling the convergence of voice, video, and data.
As a core OPUCE partner, Red Hat facilitates the adoption and usage of open source software in next generation service delivery platform (SDP) offerings, providing expertise in open source development and business models.
